Lilbits: NVIDIA & MediaTek’s chip for gaming laptops, Pixel 10 Pro leaked, and where are all the CAMM2 modules?

Qualcomm currently has the monopoly on ARM-based chips for Windows laptops. But that could change in the future. Earlier this year NVIDIA introduced a GB10 Grace Blackwell “Superchip” for AI PCs that features a 20-core ARM processor and NVIDIA graphics. The company worked with MediaTek on that processor, and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang hinted that the chip (or something like it) could eventually come to mainstream PCs.

Now rumor has it that the first gaming laptop with an NVIDIA + MediaTek processor could arrive later this year or early next year. That said, recent developments have be wondering if this will be at Windows PC or if it could run something else. After all, Valve’s Linux-based SteamOS has proven that there’s a market for alternative operating systems on at least some gaming PCs.
